Zermatt Arms Big Horn TL3 Long Action
The TL3 is Bighorn Arms’ flagship product. It is machined from pre-hardened 416 stainless steel. It has the following features:
 
Compatible with most Remington 700 style stocks and chassis (only the trim tang is compatible with all stocks).
Integral recoil lug.
20 MOA rail.
Savage small shank threaded tenon (1-1/16”-20 TPI).
Floating and interchangeable bolt head.
Controlled round feed.
Spiral fluted bolt.
Mechanical ejector.
Bayonet style firing pin assembly.
 
It is available in blasted stainless steel finish and black DLC. DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) is a surface coating that further improves the action’s corrosion, wear and galling resistance.
 
The short action comes with a standard bolt face that accepts 6.5 Creedmoor and similar cartridges. The long action has a magnum bolt face that accepts 7mm Blaser Magnum and similar cartridges.
 
The magazine cut allows the use of AICS short action magazines in the short action and AICS long action magazines in the long action (bottom metal not included). NOTE: that the action is not compatible with integral magazines or with ADL/BDL (hinged floor plates).
